We’ve got them!

Join us as we embark on new and exciting performance opportunities!  Dancers will have the opportunity to perform up to five times throughout the season! Performances include our Spring Showcase, a community event, two local dance competitions, as well as our Year-End Dance Recital!

Performance Team Requirements

  • Dancers must be enrolled in both a Jazz and a Ballet class

    Jazz Performance Team - Tuesday 5:30-6:15pm

  • Dancers must be enrolled in both a Jazz and a Ballet class

    Jazz/Lyrical Performance Team - Thursday 4:30-5:15pm

  • Dancers must be enrolled in both a Jazz and a Ballet class, and a minimum of one other annual classes

    Lyrical Performance Team - Thursday 6:15-7:15pm

Competitive & Performance Team Audition Intensive!  

We’re kicking off A Decade of Dance at Balance with our Competitive & Performance Team Audition Intensive! Get ready to dust off those dancing shoes, turn up the energy, and jump back into training for an exciting new season. Dancers will dive into a wide variety of styles, including Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Acro, Tap, and more, with classes led by both familiar Balance faces and exciting guest teachers. It’s the perfect way to sharpen your skills, try something new, reconnect with your love of dance, and get ready to take on the season ahead. Ten years of dance, one unforgettable intensive—let’s kick off the next decade together!

*Auditions are mandatory for All Performance & Competitive Team Dancers

5:00-6:30pm

Inter/Senior Levels

Competitive & Performance Team Solo & Duo Auditions!

Saturday, September 12th

Dancers interested in doing a Solo or Duo are asked to prepare 30 seconds of their own student choreography, with a song of their choice, in the genre of dance that they would like to do this season. Dancers get to perform their dance in front of a small panel of teachers.

We are so excited to see their creativity and cheer them on! This is a fun experience for the dancers that encourages them to be creative and brave, while instilling responsibility and ownership of their dance training.
